About

My name is Philip Boelter, and I am a designer and artist. After seven years in brand marketing at Live Nation Entertainment, I decided to leave my position for The Finest City. I have a knack for designing better user experiences for fans to discover events and purchase tickets, but I pride myself on being a highly detailed and efficient graphic designer. I love typography, iconography, and creating logos.

I have designed through many disciplines including user experience, visual design, user interface, desktop website, mobile apps, and graphic design. From producing large building murals for the Super Bowl to creating user interactive mobile prototypes for Ticketmaster; I have a thorough knowledge of design. I have the ability to conceptualize, sketch, and design products with attention to detail in fast pace environments.

My tools to get the job done include Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Sketch. I have knowledge of front-end development and can read/write HTML and CSS. I'm able to create motion graphics with the use of Adobe After Effects. I love to use Lightroom for all my photo editing. I believe in strong design collaboration and thrive on clear communication between team members to create products and brand marketing materials.

In my free time, I enjoy keeping up my artistic passion, Boelter Design Co. When I’m not creating digitally, I love creating with my hands. I love to paint, illustrate, hand letter, photograph, and silkscreen all while keeping up my personal shop and Society6 shop. I love to inspire others to create art and love sharing it with the world. I've enjoyed sharing my art and partake in a few art shows now and then. I like getting outdoors, beach cruising, and spending time with my beautiful wife and dog, Daisy. We enjoy road trips, good food, vino, and exploring around San Diego.
